Three aid workers killed in Afghan IED attack

Security Incident On 23 June 2009 three Afghan aid workers with
Development and Humanitarian Services for Afghanistan were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Jowzjan province, Afghanistan.
The three aid workers, two engineers and a driver, were returning from a project site in the district of Aqcha (Aqcheh) when their car was struck by the remotely detonated IED. The massive explosion killed the trio instantly.
